House Rules

- No parties/events.
- No guests other than guests registered through Airbnb who are staying at the house are permitted.
- No pets.
-Quiet hours 10:00pm - 8:00am so please enjoy the indoors during those hours. This is a quiet neighborhood and we will not tolerate any disruptance towards the neighbors.
- No loitering in the driveway or anywhere on the property.
- Respectful groups ONLY!
- Please park vehicle on the designated driveway without blocking the sidewalk.
- Do a walk through upon check in and if you notice anything in need of repair, let me know, otherwise you may be held accountable for any damages unaccounted for.
-ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING, VAPING OR DRUGS ON THE PROPERTY this includes tobacco, marijuana (medical or otherwise) and vape pens.
- Do not move furniture. If you do, put it back where you originally found it.
- Do not cook anything that will leave a linger smell for days!

The space
Our space is perfect for respectful business travelers, students, couple or small families. Whether you have families in town, attending nearby college, interning at local company, vacationing or just a simple staycation, this private and comfortable home is equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable longer term or short term stay including fresh bedding and towels, free Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, Smart TV, coffee/tea, plenty of street parking, books, games, fully appointed kitchen with Keurig Single Cup Coffee Machine, microwave, plates, cups, cookware and utensils. Each room is tastefully decorated with a lot of love built into it.

We take pride in our deep cleaning process. Every item, space, and area are sanitized, bleached, washed, shampoo, vacuumed, cleaned, wiped and scrubbed in depth. There are no shortcuts when it comes to our cleaning.

We have Ring Camera set up outside to monitor the exterior of the building.

We ask for RESPECTFUL GROUPS ONLY! This includes following house rules and being a good neighbor.

Individual booking is responsible for the whole group and enforcing house rules within their group. The person booking also needs to be the person to arrive at the house for check in.

Early check-in may be available upon request.

No late check out.

Upon booking, please give names of all adults and children staying.
Guest access
Guests will have access the entire house, except for the back door in the kitchen which leads to the storage room and off limit areas. No use of backyard, however, guests can enjoy morning coffee on the porch and enjoy the well-kept front yard and pond.
Additional notes
A long term tenant lives in the back unit which is separate from the main house with separate entrance. The private main house is in the front with separate front entrance.

Neighborhood overview
Fernside is a safe, family oriented, quiet and friendly neighborhood in the island of Alameda, the heart of the East Bay. We are next to Oakland and San Leandro, across the bay from San Francisco, central to SF Bay Bridge and San Mateo Bridge which provides easy access to Silicon Valley, San Jose and Peninsula. UC Berkeley, Saint Mary’s College, College of Alameda, Laney College and Cal State East Bay are just a short drives away. Pickleball court is a block away! Walk, drive or run to local restaurants, shops, parks or just simply enjoy the quiet Fernside neighborhood!
Getting around
My house is centrally located so we are less than 5 minutes to all the restaurants, shops, movie theaters, beach and supermarkets. Less than 10 minutes to Oakland International Airport, SF/Oak Ferry and BART station. Easy accessible and quick to get Ride Share, Uber/Lyft/Taxi. We are in a safe and friendly neighborhood where you can walk and run to anywhere.
